Measure Your Band Size
Using a soft measuring tape is a good place to start. It should be shining but not too tight, wrap around your ribcage just under your bust. Take the nearest whole number of this measurement. You will add 1 inch if it is an odd number.
Measure your bust
Next, measure your bust size. Take the measuring tape and measure around the fattest part of your bust. As this will lead to the measurement being inaccurate, prevent the tape from being pinched and level. Measure this in inches, then record it.
Calculate to find your cup size
Your cup size is figured out by following the steps of subtracting the band size from your bust measurement. The difference in inches Relates to your cup size:
- 0 inches = A cup
- 1 inch = B cup
- 2 inches = C cup
- 3 inches = D cup
- 4 inches = DD or E cup, and so on.
For example, if your bust measures 37 inches and your band size is 34 inches, the difference is 3 inches, indicating you would wear a 34D bra.
